The C1000 is a new generation of UAV aimed at low level, local area missions. The airship has a unique capability to work safely at low levels, close to people and buildings.

The airship can be configured with two different propulsion systems, either electric motors or internal combustion engines. The electric configuration is near silent but the IC engines give significantly increased endurance.

Depending upon configuration, the airship can carry a payload of up to 7kg for flights from 20 minutes to 2 hours and possibly longer as required. It can be flown manually or with a simple GPS autopilot.. The airship is normally only flown to 400ft above surface level due to UK legislation.

The size of the airship is such that it can be transported fully rigged in a purpose built trailer, helping to reduce operating costs and time to take off. The trailer also serves as a portable hanger for safe ground storage.

The airship can be fitted with a range of different payloads up to a maximum weight of 7 kgs. Auxiliary power is available to the payload of 15v (standard).

When fitted with Electric motors, the airship has a maximum airspeed of 30 knots. With IC engines fitted, higher speeds are obtainable.

The envelope is made from a polyurethane coated ripstop nylon. This provides a suitably lightweight but tough solution. The gondola, ducts and fins are manufactured using foam cored sandwich composite construction, of glass and carbon fibre.
